Description
Tigris is a globally distributed object storage service from Tigris Data, founded by former Uber storage engineers Ovais Tariq, Himank Chaudhary, and Yevgeniy Firsov. It exposes an S3-compatible API and places data close to where it is accessed, replicating across regions automatically so reads stay fast worldwide. Tigris integrates tightly with the Fly.io platform, and zero egress fees make it a fit for AI training data and model artifacts. Zero egress fees and global locality make it a practical store for training data, model artifacts, and user uploads. Tight integration with Fly.io lets applications read and write objects close to where their compute runs.
