Langflow
Visual drag-and-drop AI workflow builder with built-in MCP server deployment — now part of IBM.
Langflow is profiled here as a Prompt Management tool for engineering teams. Read about features, pricing, and how it compares to related options in the tools directory.
Description
Short Intro: Langflow is an open-source visual LLM workflow builder originally built by Rodrigo Nader and Gabriel Luiz Freitas Almeida at Logspace, a self-funded company they founded in Uberlândia, Brazil in 2022. DataStax acquired Logspace in April 2024, and IBM subsequently acquired DataStax in February 2025, placing Langflow inside IBM's watsonx AI portfolio. Teams evaluating Langflow for enterprise self-hosted deployment should verify their installation is patched against CVE-2025-34291, a remote code execution vulnerability actively exploited in the wild as of January 2026.
Key Capabilities:
Visual drag-and-drop node canvas with full Python source code access for any component
Multi-agent orchestration with conversation management and retrieval
Built-in MCP server that turns any workflow into a tool consumable by Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients
Interactive playground with step-by-step execution control for debugging flows
Deploy as REST API or export as JSON for Python application integration
Support for all major LLMs, vector databases, and document loaders in a unified visual interface
LangSmith and Langfuse observability integrations built in
Langflow Desktop for Windows and macOS, with Kubernetes Helm charts for production deployment
