Description
Builder.io is a visual development platform founded by Steve Sewell. Its Fusion agent connects to a team's repository and design system, turns Figma designs and plain-language prompts into pull requests that follow existing components and tokens, and lets designers edit on a visual canvas that writes real code. The Publish product adds a headless CMS so marketers ship pages without engineering tickets. Fusion 1.0 shipped in November 2025 with bot workflows that pick up Jira tickets, open branches, and respond to pull request review comments.
Key Capabilities:
Fusion AI agent generating code inside existing repositories
Figma-to-code conversion mapped to the team's design system
Visual canvas editing that produces reviewable pull requests
Slack, Jira, and GitHub bot workflows from ticket to branch
Headless CMS with A/B testing and personalization
Code generation for React, Vue, Angular, and Svelte
