Description
Auth0 is a managed identity platform founded in 2013 by Eugenio Pace and Matias Woloski and acquired by Okta in 2021. It handles login, multi-factor authentication, and authorization for web, mobile, and API backends, so product teams ship secure authentication without building or operating it themselves. Recent releases extend the platform to AI agents that need to authenticate and call APIs on a user's behalf. Actions let teams extend every authentication flow with custom Node.js code, and tenant logs stream to SIEM systems for security monitoring.
