Hopsworks
Feature store and ML platform for batch and real-time data
Hopsworks is profiled here as a Vector Database tool for engineering teams. Read about features, pricing, and how it compares to related options in the tools directory.
Description
Hopsworks is a feature store and machine learning platform from Logical Clocks, the Swedish company that open-sourced the project. It manages features through paired offline and online stores, so the same definitions serve training data with point-in-time correctness and low-latency lookups for inference. A vector index and model serving extend it toward retrieval and AI applications, and it runs self-hosted or as a managed service. Pairing a feature store with a vector index extends it toward retrieval and AI use cases on the same governed data. Paired offline and online stores keep training data and serving features consistent for point-in-time correctness.
Key Capabilities:
Feature groups with paired offline and online stores
Point-in-time correct training dataset generation
Low-latency online serving for real-time inference
Built-in vector index for similarity search and RAG
Feature lineage, versioning, and a feature catalog
Self-hostable with an AGPL community edition and managed cloud
