Description
Short Intro: Flowise is an open-source, low-code AI workflow builder founded in 2023 by Henry Heng and Chung Yau Ong through Y Combinator's S23 batch. Workday (NASDAQ: WDAY) acquired the company in August 2025 when the project had accumulated over 42,000 GitHub stars and was processing millions of workflows with a team of five employees. The platform and Apache 2.0 open-source codebase continue to operate under Workday, with the enterprise roadmap now oriented toward AI agent building for HR and finance use cases.
