Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

We're partnering with a global technology company to build a new AI engineering team in the Bay Area. This is a greenfield opportunity to build production AI systems from the ground up, working directly with senior technical leadership on products deployed at global scale.

What You'll Do

• Build production LLM applications, AI agents, RAG pipelines, and autonomous workflows
• Develop AI infrastructure, Skills, MCP servers, and internal developer tooling
• Evaluate frontier models and build AI evaluation and benchmarking frameworks
• Help define AI engineering best practices across the organization

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in software engineering with proven experience shipping production AI applications
• Strong Python skills and deep experience with LLMs, RAG, agent frameworks, and tool calling
• Heavy user of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and MCP servers
• Self-starter with personal AI projects, public technical content, or open-source contributions

Requirements

• Based in (or willing to relocate to) the San Francisco Bay Area
• Fluent in English (Mandarin preferred)
• Work authorization in the US

Compensation

• Total Compensation (TC): Up to ~$1M+
