Tabnine is an AI coding assistant built by Tabnine, Inc., the Tel Aviv company formerly known as Codota. The original Tabnine product was created in 2018 by Jacob Jackson at the University of Waterloo and acquired by Codota in 2019, with the company adopting the Tabnine name in 2021.
